The mission of Oasis is to help women and children heal, grow and overcome difficult life challenges by providing affordable mental health counseling and innovative education programs in a respectful and nurturing environment.

Supporting Oasis

Welcome to Oasis Women’s Counseling Center’s secure online donation page for support of women and children in need of mental health counseling and educational services in the Birmingham, Alabama metropolitian area. Our donors are a very important resource for success. Your contribution is needed to help underwrite the costs of our mental health counseling and support services.

Each year, Oasis directly improves the lives of more than a thousand women and children, helping them restore their self-sufficiency and sense of well-being in the face of challenges like grief, depression, or victimization

Online Donations: Make a tax-deductible and secure online donation using your Visa, MasterCard or American Express and receive an electronic receipt for your records or purchase tickets for the Help & Hope Luncheon to be held on March 11, 2008. Click Here

Donations by Mail: Please mail your contribution to Oasis at 1900 14th Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama 35205.

Charitable foundations, corporations, private companies, governmental grants and individuals can help subsidize counseling services in our local communities, including the counties of Jefferson, Shelby, Blount, St. Clair, and Walker. Consider the following:

Memorials - make a gift in memory of a loved one
Tributes – donate in honor of a group or individual
Annual Fund – fund the cost of a counseling session for a woman or child who cannot otherwise pay for services ($65 per session)
Non-Cash Donations - donate office supplies, printing, stock, bonds, or other goods or services  (recognition at fair market value)
Sponsorships – fund an educational session, a counselor training workshop, or a special event  (beginning at $1,000)
